Manager of Prevention, Rehabilitation and Research
The Position
Reporting to the Head of Prevention, Rehabilitation and Research, the position supports the Head to lead and oversee programmes, projects, and daily operations. He/she should ensure effective, high-quality, and measurable impacts for pneumoconiosis and mesothelioma initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver prevention, rehabilitation, and research strategies; set KPIs and drive continuous improvement for the Department;
- Assess funding applications; monitor approved projects’ scope, budget, timeline, risks, and results; produce evaluative reports;
- Plan and execute corporate and departmental events;
- Build relationship with government, NGOs, hospitals, associations, universities and media;
- Enhance the corporate brand through multi-channel marketing campaigns and PR, online and offlineplatforms;
- Assist with departmental planning, resource allocation, team development, and performance; and
- Provide secretariat support for committees (agendas, papers, minutes, follow‑ups).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in public health, social sciences, healthcare administration, management, communications, or related discipline;
- 8 years’ relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role. Experience in public or non-governmental organizations is preferred;
- Proven project and event management across complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives;
- Experience in marketing and social media, funding application assessment or secretariat support is preferrable;
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and time and people management;
- Strong stakeholder engagement across sectors and seniority levels;
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Familiar with MS Office applications.
