Head of Prevention, Rehabilitation and Research

(Starting Monthly Salary: $79,500 - Negotiable)

Being a senior executive in the Board, the incumbent will report to the Board and Secretary General. He/she will play a strategic leadership and secretarial role and develop strategies and programs regarding prevention, rehabilitation and research of Pneumoconiosis and Mesothelioma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being Committee Secretaries to report to and execute for the Secretary General and Committees of Prevention, Rehabilitation and Research on decisions, progresses and results of various initiatives and programs.
  • Building and enhancing public relations and communications with principal stakeholders including relevant patients, patients’ groups, workers, unions, Government departments, construction companies, associations and the mass media.
  • Leading advocacy activities of the Board including developing and enhancing relationships with NGOs, universities, hospitals and relevant commercial or institutional bodies.
  • Delivering prevention messages and monitoring the outcome of rehabilitation and research.

 Requirements:

  • University graduate of relevant discipline with at least 8 years’ relevant experience in taking a leading role with structured organization.
  • A creative, devoted, proactive, passionate, detail-minded and out-going person with high integrity and experience in building and enhancing corporate image, as well as driving and monitoring strategic programs and initiatives for patients and workers.
  • A public speaker with experience in dealing with press, media, stakeholders and the community.
  • Experience on research and statistics basics as well as handling legal documents such as contracts and tenders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
